The CST realized early on that in order
to be a successful nonprofit volunteer group that kept true
to its intended track, a special kind of organizational
structure was needed. A brief overview is provided on this
page, with more in depth specifics on the linked pages that
are available through the menu bar at left or through the
links in the overviews.
The CST's leadership
The current CST bylaws require the yearly election of
our team officers. The qualifications are that each officer
must be a current and active member, must be able and willing
to carry out their duties, and that they be voted into their
position by the appropriate group. Our Current Officers are
as follows:
President, Rich Harman
Vice President, Kim Powell
Secretary, Bruce Watson
Treasurer, Rich Collingwood

Funding and sponsorship
The Canyon Space Team is a nonprofit research and development
type organization. This means that all support for our efforts
comes from outside sources, whether they be individuals giving
their time, donors giving funds, or corporate sponsors lending
or donating equipment.
In thanks for those who help us, we endeavor to assist them
in return. The CST does this by placing their company logo
or name on our site, recommending their products at every
chance, and offering them the opportunity to place their logo
or name on our vehicles and equipment.
How
to Become a Sponsor
There are no hard and set requirements for becoming a sponsor
of the Canyon Space Team; any help, whether by materials or
funds, will be recognized. Any company or person wishing to
named a sponsor is asked to contact us through the Public
Relations Department via email info@canyonspaceteam.org
so that we may discuss what the donor would like to give,
and what the Canyon Space Team can do for them in return.
In return for almost any size donation, the Canyon Space Team
is proud to recognize the sponsor by placing their logo on
the webpage and other areas that are regularly viewed.
